The 2014 Booth Decorators League Road Race season kicks-off at Teversal Grange this Tuesday 15th April.

Stuart King edged-out then Mansfield Harriers teammate Mark Johnson to take victory by one second twelve months ago whilst Shane Rice was the top HRC performer in seventh.

Sutton AC’s Nikita Pembleton beat Sarah Harris in the female category, with Louise Insley first back for Heanor RC in 69th.

A scratch turnout of just fourteen runners meant the team didn’t get off to the best of starts and was forced to play catch up for the rest of the season – a season that was resurrected and eventually ended with team gold for the men and silver for the women.
