Matthew Walker 10k on course for another sell-out
Entries for the Matthew Walker Pudding Run 10k on Sunday 23rd November look set to sell-out well before the deadline as 414 runners have already signed-up for the twenty-eighth edition of the race – check if you’re in HERE.
The current numbers are two weeks ahead of where they stood in 2013 and mean the race looks on course to match last year’s 1000-limit sell-out before the day.
Derby AC’s Rich Weir and Lisa Palmer of home-club Heanor RC were the race winners last year as they led home a record number of finishers. In cool and slightly breezy conditions, 881 runners finished the race to better the previous record of 816 set just twelve months before.
The Matthew Walker 10k – the final race in the RunDerby series – is set to feature a brand new course for 2014 due to a major storm during the summer and entries can be made online via Run Britain, Eightlane and Runners World or by post – full details on how to enter can be found HERE.
