Heanor Running Club competes in two cross country leagues during the winter months – the North Midlands Cross Country League and the Booth Decorators League.
The juniors also compete in the Derbyshire XC Mini League.

There are four North Midlands XC fixtures, starting in October and running through to January, with the range of age category races taking place on Saturday afternoons.

All runnners must be first clain and registered with England Athletics
