North Mids & BDL double-header this weekend
This weekend sees Heanor Running Club return to the mud for another North Midlands Cross Country League and BDL double-header.
Various age groups will be in action at Wollaton Park on Saturday for the final North Mids fixture of the season. The third race saw success on and off the mud at Shipley Park as Joe Rainsford led the senior men to a top-3 finish and four juniors competed well at the Heanor RC-hosted event.
For the second-successive Saturday, Wollaton Park will be the venue and this weekend’s fixture will see final trophies and titles decided.

The fourth BDL fixture of the season will take place at 11.00am this Sunday 11th January at Trent Meadows, Long Eaton.
Eighteen runners in yellow and blue completed the last race in Bakewell as Stuart King took individual honours, Wendy Mullineux claimed second, four men finished inside the top-10 and the team took the spoils overall in the combined standings.

The postcode for travelling is NG10 2FT, Meadow Lane, Long Eaton (under the railway bridge, over the level crossing and straight on to the car park where you will find the race HQ up on left-hand side as you approach the car park). Traffic is always bad so allow plenty of time.
