Emily and Abbie Deeming and Lily and Phoebe Winfield flew the HRC flag at the final Derbyshire Track & Field Mini-League fixture of the season on Saturday at Moorways Stadium, Derby.

In seasonally-hot temperatures, U11 girls Phoebe and Abbie opted for the double-whammy of 80m and 150m races whilst Phoebe also added the 600m to her schedule for good measure.

Focusing solely on the 1500m, U13 Lily clocked 5:03.8 for her second-fastest ever time and crossed the line almost twenty seconds clear of her nearest rival.

Emily, following up her victory in the third Notts 5k road race ten days before, doubled-up over the 100m & 200m sprint events. Emily finished sixth over the shorter distance in 13.8 secs and eighth over the half-lap distance in 29.3 secs.
