Stuart King today qualified for the British Athletics Indoor Championships 1500m final and is set to pull on the yellow and blue for the national final in Birmingham tomorrow afternoon.

The twenty-six year old, who qualified for the championshps following an indoor personal best of 3:52.63 at the BMC indoor meet in Sheffield last month, finished fifth in his semi-final earlier today to take one of the three fastest-loser spots.

Stuart said last month that the aim was “to be challenging to make the final” and he will now be up against reigning British outdoor champion and Commonwealth Games finalist, Charlie Grice, amongst others in the final.
