A handful of Heanor RC juniors were in action in the second Derbyshire Track & Field Mini League fixture of the season on Saturday.
At the Mount St Mary’s track in Spinkhill, Danielle Smith won the U15 girls’ 1500m. Danielle, who ran 2:37.8 for 800m to finish second in the opening fixture last month, followed that up with a clear three-second victory in 5:15.5.
